PoR trick for transfering characters to Curse
Here's something I found online.
Equip a character with the Gauntlets of Ogre Power before transferring the character to Curse of the Azure Bonds. The item will vanish but the character keeps his/her 18/00 strength!

Would it not be simpler to hex edit the stats?
Or is this considered out and out cheating?
