Commodore 64 Emulator (CCS64)

Yesterday I tried out the Commodore 64 Emulator CCS64. I actually first tried it out a while back with the gamebase front-end. I wasn't able to get it working right back then, but this time I just tried using CCS64 without the front-end and got it working. Played a little bit of Death Knights of Krynn and Pool of Radiance. It was great to see the old C64 graphics especially during combat. Your characters always looked really cool with the C64 (compared to DOS). Though I still have to learn more about the emulator as it takes a bit of time to switch the disks, and having a bit of trouble saving the game.

woohoo! I created a save game for my Death Knights of Krynn characters, set up the keyboard so movement works as normal, and there's also a record video option!

press Alt+Shift+V to start/stop recording.

That is cool as hell bro. Sorry I haven't been around, I am in the USCG and my job requires me to be at work when I have to be. I been busy with the Lightning Storms rolling through Louisiana recently.

Sounds exciting! Ever been on search and rescue missions on the ocean with the USCG?

Here's something I recorded today. Death Knights of Krynn First meeting with Lord Soth

Re: Commodore 64 Emulator (CCS64)

yeah it was a dissapointing battle. I've been waiting to find a decent battle with some draconians so I can record it, but the more I go through the DKoK, the more I remember just how many undead battles there were before we really fight any draconians. The only draconian battle I fought so far was at the Dream Pavillion but the recording didn't come out so good so now I've been waiting to record another battle so I can throw some fireballs, lightning bolts, icestorms and magic missles. (Those spells don't affect those Skel Warriors that I've been fighting for the past ages so no point in recording boring battles. I've just finished up the High Clerics Tower. There should be a draconian battle coming up soon. I'll just have to wait.

+ oh yeah I just got the cloudkill spell. Can't wait to use it on some unsuspecting draconians!
